What are our Sizes? What Makes Our Pads So Absorbent? - Let Me Tell You!

Wondering what makes our cloth pads so absorbent and how they can take on even the heaviest of flows? Let me tell you!

Pantyliners are perfect for daily protection against discharge, the end of your period or if you suspect it may be arriving soon! Because our liners are for daily light protection we keep them super thin with a single layer of flannel in the middle, a flannel backer and your choice of bamboo, minky, or flannel for the topper. At 7” long and 2.5” wide these liners are slim and trim for a barely there feeling!

Inside a moderate Lily Pad you will find a super absorbent layer of fabric called Zorb instead of a layer of flannel. Zorb is made for the cloth diaper industry so you know it can soak up a lot and fast! Zorb absorb up to 20x faster than any other material and hold 10x its weight in liquid in under 2 seconds. Super absorbent yet still thin, because no one wants a pad that feels like a diaper! Each Moderate Lily pad is approximately 9” long by 2.5” wide and available in cotton flannel, minky, or bamboo toppers.

Let’s move on to our Heavy Pads. The difference between Moderate and Heavy Pads are a couple of things. Firstly they are 2” longer measuring at 11” long and secondly they have an added layer of zorb. Don’t worry, they shouldn’t feel bulky because of our technique we cleverly place the 2nd layer right in the center on top of the first layer of the pad where you need it most. Available in cotton flannel, minky and bamboo.

Our last pad size - Overnight/Postpartum Pads are made the exact same way as our heavy pads, but a little longer at 13” long and 2.5” wide for extra coverage. We have Overnight/Postpartum Pads currently available in minky and cotton flannel.

All of our pads have a curvy design with wide wings that wrap around your underwear for extra protection. Our Pads have an hourglass shape when snapped so they are narrower at the gusset just like your underwear to make sure that they do not feel like they are bunched up like a straight pad would feel.
